Get Started

  1. New signs need approval from the University Architect's Office (UAO). To start the process, fill out a Facilities Request For Services.
  2. This is the time to address building code and ADA issues. Once the request is approved by UAO, purchase hardware.
  3. While these processes are moving forward, or if you already have existing signs, please fill out the form to request a software license for your player.

NOTE: If an interactive (touch-screen) type of digital sign is requested, please be aware that Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) approach and reach range limits will apply, and the sign provided will be a shared responsibility of:

  • The UAO (for hardware specification or mounting and design and installation) - for an appropriate accessible route to the unit and to enable user’s placement of content at a portion of the screen to be located at or below 48” AFF.
  • Four Winds Interactive (as software provider) - for software capable of customization relative to a user’s positioning their interface elements in various screen locations, particularly the lower 1/4.
  • Your group and/or requesting department (as your sign’s content manipulator) - to provide interactive points within accessible reach limits (at or below 48” AFF) using the software provided to ensure an appropriate accessible user interface

Publisher resources, software connection guide, training materials, templates, and other resources are available on the Digital Signage Wiki. This is a secured site, if you don't have access, contact us.
